Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental Policy
- As Directors and owners of Industrial Landscapes we are committed to operate every aspect of the business in relation to Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental management standards and all personnel are requested to co-operate with this Policy.
- To support, reinforce our approach to business and our Strategic direction we are committed to establishing an Integrated Management system and using this framework to drive tour continual improvement through our certification to this IMS.
- The achieving and retention of this registration is a key part of our strategy to establish long-term relationships with our current and prospective clients to ensure that we effectively and efficiently meet the needs of these clients.
The effectiveness of this system is monitored by planned audits, management reviews and the implementation of corrective and preventive action where applicable.
- We recognise and accept our responsibilities as an employer and will make sure, so far as reasonably practicable, that the Health, Safety and welfare of the employees and Public is secured
- All processes and procedures are designed to take account of Health, Safety and Environmental Legislation and compliance with the legislation is mandatory.
- All employees of Industrial Landscapes have a legal obligation to comply with statutory duties using the current systems, procedures and training provided by the organisation.
- We are committed to continually improving this IMS to improve client perception and quality, prevent, work related illnesses, accidents, and effectively manage Environmental impacts, waste and the use of non renewable energy with the aim of preventing pollution and minimising waste.
- Regular communications with employees, customers and stakeholders will be utilised to ensure the continuing effectiveness of this IMS and a copy of this Policy is available on the web site and upon request.
- The management team will hold an annual meeting in order to review this IMS Policy and issue objectives for the following 12 months.
Our objectives for the next 12 months are;
- A smooth transition to ISO 9001:2015, ISO14001:2015 & ISO45001:2018 to maintain certification of the Integrated Management System
- Strive to maintain no lost time accidents.
- Ensure any plant and equipment purchased is the most Environmentally compliant available at the time
This Integrated Management Systems Manual carries the authority of both Directors.
Sheila Littlemore will take overall responsibility for the running of this system and all company personnel are requested to co-operate fully with her in this role.
Personnel who fail to comply with this Policy may be subject to disciplinary procedures.
